KDOT MANAGEMENT PLAN

The Management Goals and Objectives in the Kansas Department of Transportation's (KDOT) Management Plan were developed to provide guidance for KDOT's ongoing responsibilities. The Management Plan establishes a framework for detailing where we are as an organization and how we are progressing toward our Mission.

KDOT's Management Goals address the following ongoing responsibilities:

Management Goal 1: Leadership
To provide the direction, planning, coordination, communication, and administrative support that fosters an integrated, multimodal transportation system meeting the needs of Kansas.
Management Goal 2: Local Multimodal Assistance
To assist in providing safe, efficient, and reliable local multimodal transportation system.
Management Goal 3: Highway Maintenance
To preserve the condition of the State Highway System in its as-built or improved condition.
Management Goal 4: Highway Project Development and Construction
To develop and construct projects that continue to provide a quality state highway network effectively meeting the needs of the traveling public.
