Since July 1, 2005, applications have been
accepted from public agencies and private organizations requesting
to lease space on towers. The Kansas InterOperable Communication
System can provide public agencies the opportunity to lease
tower space on existing system towers and add radio equipment
to optimize communications.
RADIO EQUIPMENT
The CSRF Program provides a means for public
safety and public service agencies to lease state of the art
radio equipment, spreading costs out over the life of the
equipment. It improves communication among our public safety
entities which provides a step towards interoperability -
public response agencies communicating with each other across
the state.

over ten years.
