KANSAS TRUCKING CONNECTIONS

These set of regulations are govern movement of "Triple Combinations" (Special Vehicle Combination (SVC)) within Kansas .   Currently, the program only allows movements of these combinations between Goodland , Kansas and the Colorado line.

SVC Regulations - A listing of the rules and regulations associated with the Special Vehicle Combination Program. SVC Cancellations and Hearings- the procedures companies need to follow when a SVC permit has been revoked or suspended.

• SVC - Driver Qualification Standards - A listing of special qualifications each prospective driver shall have accomplished before becoming a SVC driver.
• SVC Equipment Standards - Specifies the minimum equipment requirements each company shall incorporate within their business practices in order for their tractors and other transporting equipment can be certified.
• SVC Insurance Requirements - Minimum insurance requirements required for each company
• SVC Operational Procedures - Information is included which refers to Following Distance, Lane of Travel, Disabled SVC's and Cargo requirements.
• SVC Violations - This is a listing of penalties that may be imposed on companies failing to adhere to the standards of the SVC program.
