Driver of vehicle 2, female age 52 died 12/31/05 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling norhtbound on roadway and was unable to avoid striking vehicle 2 on the driver side front door. Vehicle 2 was traveling northbound on the roadway and attempted to make an illegal uturn on roadway and was struck by vehicle 2. Safety restraint used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, female age 63 died 12/29/05 in Pawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on highway when driver fell asleep and left the roadway on the south side of roadway. Vehicle vaulted off the culvert, colliding with the other side of the culvert, coming to rest upside down in the south ditch. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 62 died 12/27/05 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 2 was stopped for a red traffic signal on the southbound road. Vehicle 1 was southbound on raodway and struck vehicle 2 from the rear. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 33 died 12/26/05 in Ellis Co as a result of vehicle 1(motorcycle) was traveling eastbound on roadway when it collided with the roadway and slid into a private yard. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 while vehicle 2 was legally parked in the driveway facing eastbound.

Driver of vehicle 2, female age 79 died 12/25/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway in left lane. Vehicle 2 was northbound on roadway. Vehicle 2 passed a car stopped at stop sign at highway into the path of vehicle 1 where it was struck in the side. Safety restraint unknown.

Pedestrian 1, male age 31 died 12/24/05 in Haskell Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on highway. Pedestrian's vehicle was on the southbound shoulder of highway. Pedestrian ran across the road to help with a vehicle on the northbound shoulder and was struck by vehicle 1.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 65 died 12/23/05 in Wallace Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling east on roadway. Vehicle 1 veered into north side of the gravel road, oversteered to correct, losing control and rolling 1 time in the south ditch. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 3 of vehicle 1, female age 25 died 12/22/05 in Lyon Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway. Vehicle 1 crossed over the southbound lane of traffic and struck the cement bridge rail. Vehicle 1 drover over bridge rail and landed upside down in creek. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 16 died 12/23/05 in Ellis Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on roadway. Vehicle 2 did not stop and or yield at the stop sign at this location and was struck by vehicle 1. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 26 died 12/23/05 in Saline Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling north on roadway when vehicle 1 lost control of the vehicle and went into the west ditch striking a utility pole. Driver 1 was killed as a result of the impact to the utility pole. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 3 of vehicle 1, female age 13 died 12/23/05 in Kiowa Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on highway. Vehicle's passenger side tires dropped off the side of the road. Driver tried to correct and over compensated causing vehicle to go into a skid. Driver then lost control of vehicle as it traveled into east ditch. Vehicle then flipped one time, the passenger side window broke. As the vehicle flipped again the right rear passenger was ejected from the vehicle through the broken window. Vehicle came to rest facing southbound in the east ditch. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 44 died 12/22/05 in Douglas Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling east, went left of center and struck vehicle 2 which was westbound. After impact vehicle 3, which was also westbound struck vehicle 2. Safety restraint not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 61 died 12/22/05 in Lyon Co as a result of pedestrian was traveling northbound on roadway in southbound driving lane. Vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on roadway and went left of center and struck pedestrian.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 22 died 12/22/05 in Bourbon Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway. Vehicle left the roadway on the east side, re-entered roadway and went into west ditch. Vehicle then overturned several times and struck a tree. The vehicle did burn and the driver was ejected. Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, female age 15 died 12/21/05 in Crawford Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was northbound on highway. Vehicle 1 traveled across the center line and struck vehicle 2 headon. Drivers safety restraint not used, occupants safety restraint used.

Pedestrian 2, male age 28 died 12/20/05 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 struck pedestrian and fled.

Driver of vehicle 3, female age 47 died 12/20/05 in Allen Co as a result of vehicle 1 was following vehicle 2 westbound on highway. Vehicle 3 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 2 attempted to make right hand turn onto roadway. Vehicle 1 struck the back end of vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 continued westbound, crossing into the eastbound lane and struck vehicle 3. Driver of vehicle 1, male died 12/19/05 in Geary Co as a result of Vehicle 1(semi) was westbound on highway, traveling in the driving lane. Vehicle 2(semi) was sitting on the north shoulder of the westbound lanes. Vehicle 1 drove onto the north shoulder striking vehicle 2 from behind. Vehicle 1 came to rest facing northwest, blocking both westbound lanes. Vehicle 1 and 2 both caught fire and 6-7 cows were killed on Vehicle 2. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 39 died 12/18/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was south on roadway, driving too fast and lost control and slid sideways into a tree. Vehicle 1 partically ejected out of passenger window striking a tree. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 32 died 12/17/05 in Jefferson Co as a result of vehicle was northbound on roadway, driver lost control on snowpacked road. Vehicle slid out of control, went off west edge of road and struck a tree. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 72 died 12/16/05 in Montgomery Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to yield to vehicle 2 that was traveling southbound on highway. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 18 died 12/14/05 in Osage Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 drifted to the left portion of her lane and driver overcorrected. Which caused the vehicle to roll into the median. Vehicle 1 ended up on it's wheels on highway northbound. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant of vehicle 2, female age 17 died 12/12/05 in Brown Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on highway and vehicle 2 was northbound on highway. Vehicle 2 left the right side of the road, driver overcorrected and vehicle 2 went across southbound lanes of traffic. Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle 2 in the passenger door. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 77 died 12/10/05 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway. Vehicle 1 turned into a drive leading to the parking lot and collided with a tree. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 24 died 12/10/05 in Jackson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway. Driver 1 failed to yield and was struck by vehicle 2 which was northbound on highway. Both vehicles caught fire. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 47 died 12/10/05 in Wilson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on highway. The driver drove the vehicle into the north ditch and rolled multiple times. The vehicle came to rest right side up out in a field. The driver was ejected and died at the scene. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, female age 45 died 12/09/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on highway and for unknown reason crossed the median into the southbound lanes. Vehicle 2 was traveling southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 head on. Safety restraint not used in vehicle 1. Safety restraint used in vehicle 2.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 64 died 12/8/05 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling west on roadway. Vehicle 1 traveled into the north ditch and struck a utility pole. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 23 died 12/8/05 in Montgomery Co as a result of vehicle 1(atv) was heading south on roadway when it came to the railroad tracks and stopped suddenly. Appears to have struck a train.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 65 died 12/7/05 in Lyon Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound when it lost control on the slick road conditions due to snow. Vehicle 1 then slid off the road and into the north ditch and collided with a tree. Safety restraint used.

Pedestrian 2, male age 57 died 12/06/05 in Wyandotte Co as a result of driver of vehicle 1 stated he was westbound on roadway when a male dressed in black walked in front of his vehicle. He was unable to miss the pedestrian.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 28 died 12/05/05 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes on highway and struck vehicle 2 head on. Safety restraint used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 2, male age 74 died 12/04/05 in Jackson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on roadway and failed to yield at highway, striking vehicle 2 which was northbound on highway. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 57 died 12/01/05 in Decatur Co as a result of vehicle was southbound on roadway, driver lost control on snowpacked roadway and went into a broadside skid traveling into the west ditch, striking a field drive; where the vehicle rolled and driver was ejected. Driver of vehicle 1, male age 18 died 11/30/05 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northeast on roadway. Vehicle 2 was southeast on highway. Vehicle 1 ran the stop stop sign and pulled out in front of vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 35 died 11/28/05 in Riley Co as a result of vehicle 1 north bound highway, Vehicle 1 lost control of vehicle struck Vehicle 2 head on, driver 1 ejected from vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 18 died 11/28/05 in Riley Co as a result of vehicle 1 was north bound highway, Vehicle 2 was south bound highway. Vehicle 1 lost control on the ice, crossed center line and was struck on the passenger side. Vehicle 1 went into west ditch, Vehicle 2 remained on the roadway. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 54 died 11/27/05 in Russell Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway when the driver lost control due to weather and road conditions. Vehicle 1 then struck the end of the median guardrail head-on. Vehicle overturned, coming to rest on the driver's side. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 26 died 11/26/05 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound at a high rate of speed. Vehicle 1 lost control, jumped curb and struck power pole. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 77 died 11/25/05 in Douglas Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on roadway. Vehicel 2 was southbound on roadway. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1 in the intersection. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 52 died 11/21/05 in Crawford Co as a result of vehicle 1 stopped at the stop sign at roadway and highway, waiting to turn left. Vehicle 2(motorcycle) was southbound on highway approaching roadway. Vehicle 1 pulled out into the path of vehicle 2 and vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 71 died 11/21/05 in Marion Co as a result of vehicle 2 was eastbound on roadway. Vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway, ran a stop sign, and then struck Vehicle 2. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 54 died 11/19/05 in Montgomery Co as a result of vehicle 1 was heading east on roadway. Vehicle 1 went into ditch and proceeded to continue down the ditch till it came to a rest 43 feet east of roadway. Driver was ejected from vehicle. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 26 died 11/19/05 in Franklin Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway when driver lost control. The vehicle was sliding in a clockwise direction on highway, when the left rear side of vehicle struck a bridge structure. The vehicle then spun in a counterclockwise direction, down into the creek bed, where it came to rest on the south side of highway. Safety restraint unknown.

Pedestrian 1, male age 48 died 11/19/05 in Franklin Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on highway. Pedestrian was walking along highway traveling eastbound. From witness statement pedestrian was attempting to cross highway from the north to south and in so pedestrian walked in front of vehicle 1 and was struck.

Occupant 3 of vehicle 1, female age 74 died 11/19/05 in McPherson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound, vehicle 2 was westbound. Vehicle 1 was crossing roadway and vehicle 2 was unable to avoid hitting vehicle 1 when it crossed straight ahead. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 47 died 11/18/05 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was west bound on highway when it drifted off the road onto the north gravel shoulder. Driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to overturn several times and then entered a south field. Driver was ejected approx. 50 feet from the vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 23 died 11/17/05 in Crawford Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on highway, vehicle 2 (truck tractor) was southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 went left of center partially sideswiping trailer of vehicle 2. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, female age 22 died 11/15/05 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was going southbound on roadway and failed to stop for police vehicles and lost control and rolled vehicle. The passenger was ejected and ended up under the vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 87 died 11/15/05 in Miami Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on roadway when vehicle 2 was traveling westbound entered in the intersection and was struck by vehicle 1. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 5 of vehicle 1, female age 7 died 11/14/05 in Finney Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on roadway when they failed to yield at the intersection of the highway and roadway. Vehicle 2 was traveling Northbound on highway. Vehicles 1 & 2 collided in the intersection. Vehicle 2 came to rest in the Northeast corner of the intersection and vehicle 1 came to rest on the roadway, just north of the intersection, both vehicles were facing southwest. Driver of vehicle 1(motorcycle), male age 23 died 11/12/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway. Driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and the motorcycle went onto the right shoulder. The motorcycle laid over on its side. The cycle and driver struck the guardrail.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 16 died 11/12/05 in Pottawatamie Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on highway, for unknown reason driver lost control. Vehicle exited roadway across north shoulder and struck guardrail. Vehicle came to rest in north ditch facing northwest. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 77 died 11/12/05 in Marion Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway. Vehicle 1 came to stop sign and stopped,then pulled out in front of Vehicle 2 which was eastbound on Highway and was not required to stop. Vehicle 2 hit Vehicle 1 in driver side door. Driver of vehicle 1, male age 39 died 11/11/05 in Labette Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway when a deer ran out in front of vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 hit brakes but still colliede with deer. Safety restraint not used.

Pedestrian 2 , male age 41 died 11/10/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway attempting a left turn onto eastbound ramp. Pedestrian 2 was northbound in crosswalk/sidewalk on east side of roadway. Pedestrian 2 desregarded the don't walk pedestrian signal and struck vehicle 1.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 60 died 11/08/05 in Cheyenne Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling westbound and vehicle 2 traveling eastbound on roadway. Vehicles were too wide to pass each other and sideswiped on bridge. Vehicle 1 struck north guardrail and vehicle 1 landed on its top and side below bridge. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 43 died 11/07/05 in Washington Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway and drifted left of center. Vehicle 1 left front side hit the left front side of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 came to rest against the guardrail on the west side of highway. Vehicle 2 continued northwest through the guardrail stricking a residence and coming to rest at the residence's garage door entrance, but not going through it. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 48 died 11/04/05 in Wilson Co as a result of vehicle was southbound on roadway. Vehicle went left of center drove in the east ditch struck concrete bridge overturned and caught fire. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 69 died 11/04 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on highway. Vehicle 2(semi) was westbound on highway, when for unknown reason vehicle 1 crossed over the center line and struck vehicle 2 on the driver side of the vehicle. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 25 died 11/04/05 in Cowley Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway when driver 1 lost control and went off the roadway. Vehicle 1 then rolled and driver was ejected from vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 17 died 11/03/05 in Greenwood Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway when driver of vehicle 1 lost control on loose gravel and slid off the road striking a fence and rolling onto its top. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 33 died 11/03/05 in Miami Co as a result of vehicle 1(motorcycle) was westbound on roadway and went off the roadway on the north side.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 15 died 11/03/05 in Saline Co as a result of vehicle 1(farm truck) was eastbound on roadway, stopped at stop sign, looked both ways and proceeded on across roadway to another road. Then looked back and saw vehicle 2 who was southbound on roadway. Driver 2 hit brakes but was unable to avoid colliding into the left side of trailer on truck. Driver 2 was pinned in vehicle. Driver of vehicle 1, male age 69 died 11/2/05 in Riley Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway when the driver lost control (possibly asleep) and left the roadway. Vehicle 1 overturned and partially ejected the driver. The driver climed out of vehicle and died. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 71 died 11/2/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was west on roadway and left the roadway struck the ditch, went airborne. Landed and rolled a couple of times. Safety restraint used.

Pedestrian 2, male age 58 died 11/01/05 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway and pedestrian 2 came from the eastside of the roadway. Pedestrian 2 ran in the sounthbound lane and vehicle 1 hit pedestrian 2.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 63 died 10/31/05 in Stanton Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on highway and vehicle 2 was northbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to yield at the stop sign and struck vehicle 2 in the passenger side. Driver 1 was ejected. Vehicle 1 came to rest in the ditch on the east side of highway and vehicle 2 came to rest in a field on the east side of highway. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, female age 24 died 10/30/05 in Republic Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway. Driver lost control of vehicle causing it to slide into the east ditch where it overturned. Vehicle 1 struck the creek embankment coming to rest on the passenger side in the east side roadway. Driver of vehicle 1, male age 47 died 10/30/05 in Ottawa Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound in the northbound lane. Vehicle 2 was northbound. Vehicle 2 swerved to miss vehicle 1 and struck it head on. Safety restraint unknown.

Vehicle 1 then tried to regain control and went into the south ditch. Vehicle 1 struck a culvert and landed upside down. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 23 died 10/29/05 in Wabaunsee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway when it went off onto the south shoulder. The driver overcorrected and lost control in the north ditch. Vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, female age 21 died 10/26/05 in Pottawatomie Co as a result of vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway and vehicle 2 pulled out from a stop sign on roadway northbound. Vehicle 2 was struck by vehicle 1 in the drivers side. Vehicle 1 rotated and stopped in the westbound lane. Vehicle 2 overturned and came to rest on the westbound shoulder on its top. Driver of vehicle 1, female age 48 died 10/22/05 in Harper Co as a result of vehicle 1 was southbound on northeast roadway. For an unknown reason drove off the east side of the roadway, overcorrected and overturned several times. The vehicle came to rest on its top in the east ditch. Driver was ejected. Driver of vehicle 1, male age 43 died 7/30/05 in Rush Co as a result of vehicle 1 was backed into the ditch and became stuck. While trying to get vehicle 1 out of the ditch, vehicle 1 caught fire. Driver of vehicle 1 died in the fire. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 22 died 7/30/05 in Phillips Co as a result of vehicle 1 (witness stated) passed at high rate of speed, lost control. Vehicle 1 hit covert head on, causing to be flip 3 times in air. Body feel out of vehicle on 2nd flip in mid air. Driver of vehicle 1 was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead. Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 87 died 7/29/05 in Barton Co, as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on roadway striking vehicle 2 which was westbound on roadway turning left. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 3 which was northbound on roadway stopped in traffic. Safety restraint used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 19 died 7/28/05 in Clark Co. as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling southwest on roadway. The driver of vehicle 1 lost control, skidded into the North ditch and overturned at least one time. Vehicle 1 came to rest on its top facing northeast. Both subjects were trapped. Driver of bicycle, male age 55 died 7/14/05 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway approaching on a green light. Bicyclist was southbound on roadway and approaching red light. Bicyclist enters intersection turning left and is struck by vehicle 1. Helmet was used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, female age 75 died 7/13/2005 in Trego Co as a result of vehicle 1 was crossing the railroad tracks. Vehicle 2, being a railroad vehicle made contact with vehicle 1 knocking it into the south ditch. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 19 died 7/13/05 in Butler Co as the result of vehicle one was pulling out of the service area, made a sharp right hand turn on to the shoulder. Then made a hard left turn across the driving lane. Vehicle one was broadsided by vehicle 2 (semi). Safety restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 38 died 7/9/05 in Wyandotte Co as the result of vehicle 1 was northbound on interstate. Vehicle 1 was following another vehicle that took the exit to go east, instead of taking exit to go west. Vehicle 1 attempted to also make the eastbound exit . While making the exit, vehicle 1's back wheels locked up and driver lost control of vehicle. Driver was thrown from vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 2, male age 53 died 7/9/05 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on street, stopped at stop sign and did not see Vehicle 2 (motorcycle) traveling westbound. Pulled out in front of Vehicle 2 and collided in the intersection.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 30 died 7/8/05 in Ellis Co as a result of driver vehicle 1 was on the motorcycle and was receiving driving instructions from motorcycle owner who was on foot. Driver lost control and struck a light pole. No helmet worn.

Both occupants fell off the motorcycle on the west side of roadway. No helmets worn by either occupants.

Pedestrian 1, male age 14 months died 6/20/05 in Marshall Co as a result of vehicle 1 was moving her personal truck and drove over her 14 month old son in the backyard of their house. Vehicle 1 was north east bound in the yard from a parked position.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 61 died 6/20/05 in Butler Co as a result of vehicle 1 was turning off the highway to go south on roadway when vehicle 1 faild to yield to the east bound vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 65 died 6/20/2005 in Chase Co as a result of vehicle 1, a trash truck, was eastbound on an roadway. Vehicle 2, a railroad train, was northeast-bound on the railroad tracks. Vehicle 1 failed to yield at railroad crossing to Vehicle 2 and Vehicle 2 struck Vehicle 1. Safety restraint not used.

The driver of vehicle 1 appeared to have lost control of her vehicle on the gravel roadway and went off the roadway on the south side rolling over more than one time ejecting the driver. Driver of vehicle 2, male age 40 died 6/9/2005 in Cherokee Co as a result of vehicle 1 was northbound on highway, vehicle 2 was southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 attempted to avoid hitting a cow in the roadway, entered the southbound lane of traffic whereupon it rolled onto its passenger side. Vehicle 1 then slid into and on top of, vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 then rolled over vehicle 2 and came to rest on it's driver's side. Safety restraint used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 73 died 06/07/2005 in Smith Co as a result of vehicle 1 (ATV) was southbound on roadway and went left of center, driver swerved to the right. Driver was ejected face down on to the road and the vehicle came to rest on its left side, landing on the legs of the victim.

Pedestrian, male unknown age died 6/6/05 died in Barton Co as a result of Pedestrian 1 was walking east bound on highway when pedestrian 1 was struck by vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 left the scene. Pedestrian 1 was discovered dead in the south ditch.

Vehicle 1 hydroplaned into the eastbound lanes of the highway where vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1 broadside on the driver's side. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 35 died 5/29/05 in Montgomery Co as the result of vehicle 1 was southbound on highway, vehicle veered off the roadway on the right side. Vehicle continued off roadway over this side of culvert hitting other side of culvert head on coming to rest on passenger side facing north. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 19 died 5/27/05 in Jackson Co as the result of vehicle 2 was northbound on highway stopped waiting to turn onto westbound roadway. Vehicle 1 was northbound on highway approaching vehicle 2 from the rear. Vehicle 1 struck the back of vehicle 2. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 45 died 5/25/2005 in Douglas Co as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway when it entered the intersection of highway and was struck in the passenger side door by vehicle 2 which was southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 was sheared in half. Debris from vehicle 1 struck vehicle 3 which was parked at the fuel pumps at fuel station. Vehicle 2 turned over on it's left side, lost it's load of sand and destroyed fuel pumps at the fuel station. Vehicle 2 came to rest in the parking lot of the fuel station. Driver vehicle 1, female age 38, died 5/16/05 in Hamilton Co as the result of vehicle was southbound on Hamilton County road. Driver of the vehicle went over to the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, slid clockwise then slid sideways. The vehicle then entered the west ditch, rolling 1 1/2 times. Driver vehicle 1, male age 31 died 4/28/05 in Linn, Co vehicle 1 was southbound on the roadway and for unknown reason enters east ditch where it overturns several times. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 2, female age 55 died 4/27/05 in Franklin, Co as the result of vehicle 1 was northbound and vehicle 2 was southbound on interstate. For unknown reason vehicle 1 drove into south ditch. Driver of vehicle 1 overcorrected and drove across both north bound lanes and the median. Vehicle 1 struck south bound vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 came to rest blocking both south bound lanes of traffic. Vehicle 2 left the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Driver and passenger of vehicle 1 were flown from the scene. Safety restraint used.

Vehicle 1 was following another semi when vehicle 1 moved into the eastbound lane to pass. Driver of vehicle 1 apparently saw vehicle 2 and tried to get back into the westbound lane. Driver of vehicle 1 lost control and slid back into the eastbound lane where it was struck by vehicle 2. The roadway was wet & there were very light sprinkles of rain at the time of accident. Driver vehicle 2, male age 43 died 04/17/2005 in Leavenworth as the result of vehicle 1 was east bound on highway slowing to make a left turn into a private drive. Upon approaching the drive, vehicle 1 initiated the turn not aware of west bound vehicle 2 (motorcycle). Vehicle 2 drove into the front of vehicle 1, becoming lodged under vehicle 1.

Drive vehicle 2, female age 89 in Johnson Co died 4/2/05 as the result of vehicle 1 wasw north bound on roadway. Vehicle 2 was southbound on same roadway turning left on to street. Vehicle 2 turned in front of vehicle 1 and vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 on the passenger side. Safety restraints used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 20 in Johnson Co died 4/2/2005 as a result of vehicle 1 was south bound on roadway struck the curb. Driver was ejected. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant vehicle 1, female ate 45 in Osage Co died 4/2/05 as the result of both vehicles were westbound on roadway with vehicle 1 (motorcycle) behind vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 attempted to turn left into a field entrance while vehicle 1 was attempting to pass. Vehicle 1 went into an evasive maneuver to avoid striking vehicle 2. Driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn, ejecting both occupants. The vehicle entered the south ditch and came to rest facing SE. Both occupants came to rest in the S ditch prior to the field entrance. No contact was made with vehicle 2.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 29 in Harvey Co died 4/01/05 as the result of driver of vehicle 1 lost control of the vehicle on a curved entrance ramp, leaving the roadway, and rolling several times down an embankment. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 37 in Leavenworth Co died 3/29/05 as the result of Vehicle 1 (motorcycle) southbound on roadway. Driver lost control. Vehicle went into south ditch. Driver then separated from vehicle. Driver went into north ditch and struck culvert.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 55 died in Sedgwick Co on 3/27/05 as a result of vehicle 2 turned westbound from northbound roadway onto another roadway. Vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway at a high rate of speed. Vehicle 1 laid bike down and collided with vehicle 2.

Occupant vehicle 1, female age 7 in Kearny Co died 3/26/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway when driver went to the right edge of the roadway, pulled vehicle back to the left, possibly over-correcting. Driver then lost control of the vehicle and went into the west ditch where vehicle rolled, coming to rest on it's roof. Fatal subject was ejected from the vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Vehicle 3 was westbound on highway approaching roadway. Vehicle 1 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2 pushing vehicle 2 in the path of vehicle 3. Vehicle 3 struck vehicle 2. Driver vehicle 1, male age 42, in Ellis Co died 3/20/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was north bound on roadway while Vehicle 2 was south bound on same roadway. Vehicle 1 dropped off the to east side of the roadway. Vehicle 1 then over corrected came back onto the roadway, spun around 180 degrees, crossing the center line and struck Vehicle 2. Driver vehicle 1, female age 14, Gray Co died 3/20/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was Eastbound on roadway, when the driver lost control and went into the South ditch. Vehicle came back onto the roadway, then went into the North ditch and rolled 1 time, ejecting the driver. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 17 died 3/19/05 in Montgomery Co as the result of vehicle 1 came around corner to fast to stop. Vehicle 1 struck a tree on the east side of road. Safety restraint not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 77, in Seward Co died 3/18/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was westbound on highway when it struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian, who died at the scene, had exited his vehicle, which was parked on the south shoulder, facing east, and apparently broken down.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 51 in Sedgwick Co died 3/16/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was southbound on highway, driver lost control and the vehicle overturned on the right side shoulder colliding with a light pole and then with the guardrail. Occupant vehicle 2, Female age 53, in Dickinson Co, died 2/13/2005 as a result of Vehicle 2 failed to stop at the county road stop sign and struck vehicle 1 in the Intersection. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 17, in Cloud Co, died 2/13/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was east bound on roadway when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and went off the north side of the roadway striking a tree. Safety restraint use unknown.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 18 in Leavenworth Co died 2/12/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was on highway EB when driver 1 lost control, struck the guardrail and left the roadway. Driver 1 was ejected from vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, Female age 26, of Butler Co, died 2/8/05 as a result of Vehicle #1 went left of highway center and was struck by vehicle #2 head on. Safety restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 24 of Pierceville, KS died 2/8/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 went left of center, sliding into the path of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 struck Vehicle 1. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 43, in Wyandotte Co, died 2/7/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was east bound in the wes bound lanes. Vehicle 1 crested a hill hitting vehicle 2 head-on. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 40 of Portis, KS died 2/7/05 as a result of Vehicle was Southbound on highway and began to skid on the ice. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on the drivers side. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 2, female age 54, in Wyandotte Co, died 2/7/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was east bound on highway in the right lane. Vehicle 2 was turning left to go south across the roadway from the west bound lanes. The front of vehicle 1 struck the front right side of vehicle 2. Both vehicle left the roadway. Safety restraint use unknown.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 19
Driver vehicle 2, female age 16, both died 2/5/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was eastbound on county road and vehicle 2 was westbound. The vehicles collided head-on just below the crest of a hill. Neither were wearing their safety restraints.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 19, died 2/6/05 as a result of Vehicle #1 was westbound on highway and vehicle #2 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle #1 went left of center striking vehicle #2 headon. Safety restraint use unknown.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 41 died 2/5/05 in Johnson Co as the result of vehicle 1 was westbound on parkway and struck a bridge pillar headon. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant vehicle 1, male age 40, died on 2/4/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was EB on highway. Vehicle 2 was WB on highway. Vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 headon. Safety restraint used.

Driver Vehicle 1, male age 30, died on 2/4/05. Vehicle was NB on highwayw when the driver fell asleep. The vehicle entered the center median came out crossing the NB lanes rolling and ejecting the driver. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 52, died 1/31/05 in Sedgwick Co as the result of driver vehicle 1 on roadway, drove through a construction barricade slamming head on into a ford tractor. Witness saw vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Safety restraint not used.

Driver Vehicle 1, male age 18, died on 1/28/2005. Vehicle 1 was EB on highway. Vehicle 1 lost control and spun into pathway of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 struck Vehicle 1 broadside. Both vehicles came to rest in the north ditch. Safety restraint not used.

Driver of vehicle 2 , female age 55 died on 1/27/05 in Harvey Co as a result of vehicle 2 was straight following roadway northbound. Vehicle 1 was stopped facing south and turned east towards a private drive in front of vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 was struck by vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 was forced into vehicle 3, which was stopped in the private drive. Safety restraint unknown.

Driver Vehicle 1, female age 38
Occupant Vehicle 1, male age 6, both died on 1/23/2005. Vehicle 1 was northbound on highway, vehicle 2 was southbound on highway; vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 head-on. Safety restraints not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 72, died on 1/23/2005. Vehicle 1 was WB on highway and came upon and struck 2 horses in the roadway. Driver expired at the scene. Safety restraints not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 44, died on 1/21/05. Vehicle 1 was NB on highway. Vehicle 2 was SB on highway and crossed into the NB lane of road. Vehicles hit head on. Safety restraints were used.

Driver Vehicle 1, male age 89,
Occupant Vehicle 1, female age 80, both died on 1/20/2005. Vehicle 1 NB on roadway. Vehicle 1 failed to yield and pulled out in front of vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 a dump truck EB on roadway, struck vehicle 1 in drivers side. After impact both vehicles spun out into the north ditch. Safety restraints not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 48, died on 1/20/05 in Finney Co as the result of vehicle 1 (motorcycle) was southbound on road turning westbound at intersection and collided with vehicle 2 going northbound on road turning westbound. Collision caused vehicle 1 to strike vehicle 3 waiting to turn the north.

Driver vehicle 2, male age 73, died on 1/19/05. Vehicle 1 was NB on roadway when vehicle 2 pulled out and was hit by vehicle 1. Safety restraint use unknown.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 26, died on 1/17/05. Vehicle was southbound on highway when trying to pass in a no passing zone at a high rate of speed. Driver lost control spinning crossed into northbound traffic lanes and entered east ditch. Where vehicle struck a utility pole and a KDOT sign before coming to rest upright facing south. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 70, died 01/17/05. Driver of vehicle 1, Vehicle was EB on roadway and left the roadway. Driver made attempt to correct. Vehicle struck the box culvert and flipped at least two times, ejecting the driver. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 22, died on 1/17/05. Driver of vehicle 1 was EB on roadway. Vehicle 2 was SB on roadway. Vehicle 1 stopped at the stop sign and then pulled out in front of Vehicle 2. Safety restraints were used.

Occupant Vehicle 1, female age 16, died 1/15/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was EB on roadway when the driver lost control. Vehicle 1 subsequently went into the north ditch and rolled, coming to rest in a field, Passenger was ejected. Safety Restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 23, died 1/12/05 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 1 was SB on highway when it slid on a patch of ice. Vehicle 1 slid in to the median where it became airborne, vehicle 1 rolled and then struck a guardrail. The vehicle the rolled again. Driver was ejected. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 2, male age 36, died 01/12/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1, (Semi) was blocking the roadway following a previous crash and vehicle 2 was EB highway in right lane. Vehicle 2 went underneath the trailer of Vehicle 1, trapping driver 2 in the vehicle. Safety restraint unknown.

Pedestrian, male age 83, died 1/12/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway turning left. Vehicle 1 struck pedestrian who was crossing roadway.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 71 died 1/11/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was westbound on roadway when came upon a stopped vehicle. Vehicle 1 was unable to stop, lost control. left roadway and struck two fences. Safety restraint used.

Occupant vehicle 1, female age 24, died 1/11/05 as the result of Vehicle 1 was northbound on roadway. Vehicle started to slide on the ice, when it entered the median on the north side and exited north shoulder. Vehicle 1 crossed the median, overturned, and came to rest on the southbound shoulder. Safety restraint not used.

Driver Vehicle 1, male age 50, died 1/10/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 was NB on the highway and lost control on the icy roadway and went into the right-hand ditch and rolled over coming to rest on it's wheels. Safety restraints were used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 86, in Shawnee Co, died 1/10/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was south bound on roadway and lost control on ice and hit oncoming north bound vehicle 2. Safety restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 23,
Driver vehicle 2, female age 55, both died 1/8/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1 was westbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was eastbound. Vehicle 2 was in passing lane, when vehicle 1 crossed into it and hit vehicle 2 head on. Vehicle 1 safety restraint not used, vehicle 2 safety restraint used.

Outside of vehicle, male age 7, died 1/6/05 as a result of driver 1 was pulling 3 children on a car hood on the ice, behind his truck. Driver 1 slowed causing the childrent to slide into the truck.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 68, died 1/5/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1 was in the number 1 lane on road. Driver 1 lost control, vehicle 1 spun and struck median. Vehicle 1 bounced back across traffic and was t-boned by vehicle 2. Safety restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 46, died 1/4/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1 was westbound on road when the right front wheel left the paved surface and got into the mud causing the vehicle to go down a small embankment. Vehicle 1 sideswipe several trees before striking a large tree and the impact point was the passenger side door. Subject was trapped in the vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 75 in Sedgwick Co died 1/4/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1 was southbound on roadway when Pedestrian was crossing roadway in front of vehicle 1 and was struck by vehicle 1.

Occupant vehicle 2, female age 61, died 1/3/2005 as a result of Vehicle was South bound on roadway when the passenger side tires left the roadway due to icy weather and went into the West ditch. The driver over corrected and the vehicle slid sideways into the the East ditch. The vehicle over turned 1 1/4 times into the East ditch and came to rest facing Northeast in a field. The vehicle was laying on the Passenger side and the passenger was partialy trapped. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 2, male age 27, died 1/3/05 as a result of Vehicle 1 (semi) was in the Right lane of roadway approaching a bridge. Vehicle 2, passed Vehicle 1 in the left lane just prior to the bridge and slid in front of Vehicle 1 in the right lane of the bridge. Vehicle 1 then struck Vehicle 2 on the passenger side door, and continued to push the vehicle across the bridge, then vehicle 2 slid down the embankment on its side landing on the driver's door. Safety restraint used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 77, died 1/2/05 as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling south on roadway when vehicle 1 left the roadway and struck a bridge guardrail on the north east side of the road. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant Vehicle 1, female age 11, died on 1/1/05. Vehicle 1 was SB in the roadway. The vehicle slid into a ditch and overturned ejecting passenger from the rear of vehicle. Safety restraint not used.

Driver vehicle 1, male age 42, died on 1/1/05. Vehicle 1 was SB on roadway. Vehicle 1 ran off the East side of the road, rolled several times and landed in a road construction strip pit. Safety restraint use unknown.

Driver vehicle 1, female age 51, died 1/1/2005 as a result of Vehicle was WB on highway slid on the icy bridge and lost control. Vehicle entered the North ditch and rolled 4 times. Safety restraint not used.

Occupant vehicle 1, male age 24, Garden City, KS, died 1/1/2005 as a result of Vehicle 1 was south bound on roadway and lost control; left the roadway onto a field entrance on the west side of roadway and back on to roadway and lost control again and entered west ditch and rolled several times, finally coming to rest on its top. Safety restraint not used.
