KDOT CONTRACTS

KDOT establishes projects/contracts for construction work to improve the KDOT highway system. KDOT has a Construction Bid Letting Schedule set for projects that are currently available for bidding by contractors. A contractor who intends to submit a bidding proposal shall complete and deliver "Contractor's Qualification Statement and Experience Questionnaire" to the Director of Operations at least fourteen (14) days prior to the intended bid letting date. Non-Bidding Proposal Forms and construction plans are available to all contractors and suppliers who request them. The listing below shows pre-letting, post-letting and general contractor information.

Project Proposals

• All Project Proposals listed below are in Adobe Acrobat™ 5.x (PDF) format. The best procedure to download a proposal is to right-click on the Contract Number and save it to your computer.
• The project Non-bidding proposals forms DO NOT contain the Standard Specifications. Refer to the Special Provision list and obtain copies at the following link: Specifications.

Plan Holders List by Bidder

• List of all Contractors requesting Bidding Proposals (must be Pre-qualified by the Director of Operations). Updated as needed.

Non-Bidding Plan Holders List

• List of Contractors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors that have requested non-bidding proposals and/or plans. Updated as needed.

Addendum's to Plans and Proposals

• Projects that have had an addendum made are listed under the project information. This is for information only and most attachments are. Updated as needed.

Summary of Quantities

• List of the current months projects including line item quantities based on preliminary quantities. Updated monthly.

Expedite (EBS) Software

• The Expedite™ Bid Manager program (BID) allows contractors to create electronic bid documents. You can use the BID system to prepare your bid more efficiently, and to check for and eliminate common types of bidding errors.

• PROPOSAL SCHEDULE in an electronic file format for the EXPEDITE bidding system this is the DATA ONLY. Updated as needed.
  

Monthly Letting List Report

• A listing of projects scheduled to be let within the next year. The report provides information to contractors, utility companies, the public, and others regarding KDOT's potential future work efforts. Updated weekly.
  

As Read Bids

• The listing of the bids as they are read at the public opening. Updated within 24 hours of the opening of the bids.

Low Bidders List

• The bidder submitted for award after verification of the bids and consideration of all State and Contractor stipulations. Also the status of the award by the Secretary. Updated within 1 week of the opening of the bids.
  

Bid Tabs

• Report of past awarded projects with details. Updated as needed after award of the letting.

Pre-Qualified Contractors List

• Names and address of Pre-Qualified Contractors.
  

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

• Information regarding the Kansas Department of Transportation certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) program.
