Download Expedite (EBS) Software
Contractors shall use AASHTO's EXPEDITE software in combination with the electronic bidding system file created for the Project with EXPEDITE software (EBS file) to generate an electronic paper proposal or an electronic internet proposal. Contractors that elect to submit construction bids to the Kansas Department of Transportation using the electronic paper proposal method must provide their EBS (electronic bid) on an electronic storage device and a paper copy of the Unit Prices List. Your PAPER BID is your OFFICIAL BID. The Secretary of Transportation will not accept handwritten bids, typewritten bids or bids created using anything other than the EBS software. You may use the below link for a free EXPEDITE download. It is a Windows based program that has the capability to interface with many other spreadsheet and bidding programs.
NOTE: In order to complete a bid for KDOT using Expedite you must download version 5.11a.
