The information above represents the shop capacities of several companies that commonly fabricate girders for KDOT. These limits are for a girder "piece", not the entire girder. Designers should consider this information when setting splice locations on larger girders.

*Lengths are based on the longest girder each shop has fabricated and shipped. Transportation issues should also be considered.
