KDOT Bridge Consulting Engineers are asked to subscribe at least one staff person from each office to the LRFD List Server. Subscribers are able to ask (Email) LRFD questions of the State Bridge Office (SBO). Each subscriber will receive an Email with every question posed by any other subscriber, and the answer to the question when posted by the SBO. All questions and answers will be published in the LRFD Discussion Forum and will be available to anyone using a standard web browser. Eventually, all information in this forum will be published in the KDOT LRFD Bridge Manual.

Subscribers are asked to search the Discussion Forum to see if their question has already been asked and answered. Please submit LRFD Specification references with the question.

The SBO will assemble a panel of KDOT staff and other experts to help answer the questions. There will be a time lag between posting of the questions and the answers. Correctness has precedence over timeliness.
