Lewis & Clark Viaduct - March 25 update

Work continues on the piers in the river, weather permitting and the contractor is a few weeks away from being ready to set the final girder spans. There are still significant snow caps up north and as that melts there could be significant flooding on the Missouri and/or Kansas Rivers, which could delay the project because they will need to be working from a barge in order to set the girders. Project is expected to be completed, or at least open to traffic, by the end of the year, but several potential delays could happen in the next couple of months.
