The KDOT Research Reports Catalog provides access to full text digital copies of all KDOT research publications. Certain publications
could not be scanned because of the size or condition of the original. In
these cases, the file may include only a title page. Lengthy reports may
have two or more parts. Each will be shown as an individual entry. The reports
are stored in the agency document management system and thus are bound by
its requirements. Some records are displayed differently than by a typical
library cataloging system.
A brief description and explanation of the indexing terms used by the system follows:
Document Title:
Typically the report title shown on the publication but may include other information such as the part number (Part
1 of 4).
Keyword:
The full text of each report is not indexed. Typically 10 or more keywords
indicative of the report content are included.
Reference Number:
The number associated with the project and/or report that is typically shown on the cover of the report.
The field is blank on a few reports that do not have a reference number.
Reference Names:
Author name(s) and the organization each is affiliated with are listed individually separated by an ampersand and in
alphabetical order, not in the order shown on the report.
Date:
By default the date is shown as MM/DD/YYYY even if only month and year is shown on the publication.
Custom searches may be made by marking or unmarking the radio
buttons after “Search In”. The option to search for Keywords
or Reference Name(s) is available.
The default is keyword.
