Driver of vehicle 1, male age 38 died on 5/17/12 in Seward Co as a result of vehicle 1 (motorcycle) traveling northbound on highway when it wen tof right side of roadway and driver lost control. The driver was ejected.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 62 died on 5/16/12 in Atchison Co as a result of vehicle 1 (semi) was traveling westbound on highway when it left the roadway, entered the south ditch, and went over a field drive (entrance) culvert. The trailer detached from the truck and the truck continued westbound into a private field and crashed into a ravine.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 42, and
Driver of vehicle 2, female age 42, died on 5/15/12 in Seward Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was traveling northbound on highway. Vehicle 1 went left of center, striking vehicle 2 left front head on. Vehicle 1 came to rest in southbound lane of highway. Vehicle 2 came to rest on northbound shoulder. Some safety restraints were used in each vehicle.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 2, male age 32, died on 5/14/12 in Riley Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. Vehicle 2 was westbound. Vehicle 1 hit vehicle 2 head on. Some safety restraints were used in each vehicle.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 22 died on 5/11/12 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on interstate. Vehicle 2 was stationary in a blocked off construction zone transition area. Vehicle 1, while traveling southbound, ended up in the left lane closed portion and struck vehicle 2 in the rear. Safety restraint was not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 2 died on 5/5/12 in Labette Co as a result of vehicle 1 driving through a pasture. Pedestrian 1 was walking in the pasture. Driver 1 was unable to see the pedestrian, and ran over the pedestrian.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 16 died on 5/5/12 in Wichita Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on road when driver lost control. Vehicle one left the roadway on the west side of the road, overturned, struck a powerpole and came to rest on its wheels on the west side of the road facing west. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 26 died on 5/4/12 in Chautauqua Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling westbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was traveling eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 traveled left of center and struck vehicle 2. Safety restraint was used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 48 died on 5/3/12 in Ford Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on road. Vehicle 2 (semi) was traveling eastbound on highway. Vehicle 3 (semi) was traveling westbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to yield the right-of-way. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1 in the passenger side. Vehicle 3 made an avoidance maneuver, struck vehicle 2, and then went off the roadway into the north ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 23 died on 4/29/12 in Johnson Co as a result of pedestrian was walking southbound on interstate when struck by vehicle 1 in the right lane.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 72 died on 4/27/12 in Ottawa Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on highway and drifted off the road. Driver overcorrected, vehicle rolled and came to rest in the west ditch on the wheels.

Occupant 1 of vehicle 2 (motorhome), male age 67 died on 4/26/12 in Saline Co as a result of vehicle 1 (semi) entering a rest area at a high rate of speed and striking vehicle 2.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 34 died on 4/25/12 in Douglas Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling westbound on highway. The right side tires went off the roadway and vehicle struck a sign. Vehicle continued into the ditch where it overturned several times, striking a tree row and fence. Vehicle came to rest on its top, facing southeast in a field. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 33 died on 4/24/12 in Butler Co as a result of vehicle 1 (semi) was traveling northbound on road when driver lost control and vehicle overturned in the ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 82 died on 4/24/12 in Kearny Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on road. Vehicle 2 (semi-tractor) was traveling eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to stop at the stop sign at highway and road. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, female age 57 died on 4/17/12 in Neosho Co when vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on road. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on road. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 collided in the intersection. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 39,
Driver of vehicle 2, male age 52 died on 4/16/12 in Geary Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on highway and vehicle 2 was traveling northbound on highway. Vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 head on. Vehicle 2 became airborne and landed partially in the east ditch and on top of east guardrail. One safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 21 died on 4/16/12 in Ottawa Co as a result of vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on road and veered off the roadway. Vehicle 1 struck the enbankment of a driveway, causing vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its top. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 61 died on 4/16/12 in Greenwood Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on highway when it left the roadway and rolled. Vehicle 1 came to rest in the east ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 45 died on 4/13/12 in Saline Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling westbound on highway when it crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 (motorcycle), which as traveling eastbound on highway. Driver of vehicle 2 was not wearing a helmet.

Driver of Vehicle 1, male age 25,
Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 49, died on 4/9/12 in Gove Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling eastbound on interstate when driver lost control. Vehicle 1 traveled through the median and into the westbound lanes of traffic. Vehicle 1 was then broadsided by vehicle 2 (truck tractor), on the driver's side, which was westbound. Both vehicles came to rest in the north ditch. Vehicle 1 on its top facing west and vehicle 2 facing north-northwest. One safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 19 died on 4/8/12 in Dickinson Co as a result of vehicle traveling westbound on highway. For unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway into the north ditch. The vehicle continued traveling westbound in the north ditch and went airborne into the creek. The vehicle struck the embankment and landed on its top. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 67 died on 4/8/12 in Ford Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling eastbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was traveling westbound on highway. Vehicle 1 drove left of center striking vehicle 2 on the left front. Vehicle 2 entered the north ditch and came to rest on its wheels facing north. Vehicle 1 overturned, entered the north ditch and came to rest on the passenger side facing south. Safety restraints were used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 61 died on 4/4/12 in Butler Co as a result of vehicle 2 eastbound on highway at a low rate of speed. Vehicle 1 struck rear of vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was pushed off roadway to the north and struck a tree row. Vehicle 1 left the scene. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 84 died on 4/2/12 in Republic Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on road. For an unknown reason driver 1 lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to enter the west ditch and overturn. Safety restraint was not used.

Occupant 12 of vehicle 1, male age 12, died on 4/1/12 in Osage Co as a result of vehicle 1 (semi) traveling northbound on Interstate. The vehicle left the roadway, struck the metal guardrail, then a concrete bridge rail, which it then went over and down into a creek. The truck landed on its wheels, and the trailer landed on its left (driver's) side, in front of the truck. Safety restraints were not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 40 died on 3/31/12 in Harvey Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on road when it left the roadway into the southbound ditch, striking a tree. Safety restraint was not used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1, male age 19 died on 3/31/12 in Montgomery Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on highway in the northbound lanes. Vehicle 2 was northbound in the northbound lanes. Driver 2 was unable to avoid vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 in the northbound lanes. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1 (motorcycle), male age 48 died on 3/31/12 in Marshall Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 left the roadway, struck gravel, lost control and struck the guardrail. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1 (tractor), male age 54 died on 3/30/12 in Cowley Co as a result of driver 1 clearning brush and for unknown reasons got off the tractor and the back tire ran over the man.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 37 died on 3/26/12 in Jewell Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was northbound on highway when the two vehicles collided. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 51 died on 3/22/12 in Rooks Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on highway and driver lost control of the vehicle. Vehicle struck the guardrail on north side of the bridge and came to rest in the east ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 45 died on 3/22/12 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound in thenorthbound lane of interstate in lane number 3. Vehicle 1 collided head-on with vehicle 2 at highway speeds. Safety restraint was used.

Passenger 1, female age 51 died on 3/21/12 in Cowley Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on road when it failed to slow for a curve and went into the south ditch, striking a tree. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, female age 29 died on 3/21/12 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on highway passed through the intersection. Vehicle 2 was southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 crossed the median and was struck in the passengers side. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 21 died on 3/20/12 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 (semi) northbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was southbound on highway and drifted into the opposing lane and struck vehicle 1 head on. Safety restraint was used.

Passenger 3, female age 15 died on 3/19/12 in Shawnee Co as a result of Vehicle 1 traveling eastbound on road and passing vehicles at a high rate of speed. Vehcile 1 then left the road, traveled sideways, struck a tree stump and utility pole, overturned, and landed on its side against a tree. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 57 died on 3/19/12 in Miami Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound in the southbound left had lane of highway. Vehicle 2 was southbound in the same lane of highway. Vehicles collided. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 54 died on 3/16/12 in Sedgwick Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on interstate. Vehicles 2 and 3 were both northbound on interstate. Vehicle 1 left the roadway in the southbound lanes, over-corrected and went through the median and collided with vehicle 2. Vehicle 3 hit the debris from the collision in the roadway. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 40 died on 3/16/12 in Stafford Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was northbound on highway. For unknown reason vehicle 1 went left of center and struck vehicle 2 head on. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 54 died on 3/14/12 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling westbound on road when it failed to stop for vehicle 2 which was traveling northbound on highway. Vehicle 1 then collided with vehicle 2 in the intersection of northbound highway and road. Safety restraint was not used.

Pedestrian 2, female age 41 died on 3/13/12 in Wyandotte Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling east on road when it struck Pedestrian 1 and Pedestrian 2 who were crossing the roadway.

Pedestrian 1, male age 44 died on 3/10/12 in Thomas Co as a result of vehicle 1 pulling out of a parking stall when pedestrian approached the vehicle. Pedestrian moved to the front of the vehicle as the vehicle began to move forward. Pedestrian lost balance due to contact with the vehicle and fell over, striking head against pavement.

Pedestrian 1, female age 66 died on 3/6/12 in Ellis Co as a result of pedestrian outside of vehicle checking damage after hitting a deer on the northbound side of highway. Vehicle 1 approached the area southbound on highway striking the pedestrian.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 63 died on 3/5/12 in Bourbon Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling northbound in the alleyway of street. Vehicle left the alleyway to the east and struck the building. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 23 died on 3/4/12 in Nemaha Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on highway, approached a curve and ran off the road to the left. Vehicle 1 rolled in the ditch coming to rest in a field on its driver's side facing north. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 62 died on 2/27/12 in Washington Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on street at a controlled intersection. Vehicle 2 was southbound on street. Vehicle 1 entered intersection and was struck by vehicle 2. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 78 died on 2/25/12 in Smith Co as a result of vehicle 1 pulling into a driveway when the vehicle accelerated, went through the back of a carport and through an empty lot, then crossed over an alley and into a yard, striking a brick wall and flipping the vehicle onto the passenger side facing south.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 34 died on 2/22/12 in Labette Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on road. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on road. From the stop sign, vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 struck a utility pole. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 39 died on 2/19/12 in Geary Co as a result of vehicle traveling southbound and leaving roadway on the west side of the road. Vehicle 1 continued southbound and crossed the roadway to the east side. Vehicle 1 started rolling and came to rest against a tree in the east side ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 25 died on 2/16/12 in Montgomery as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on road. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to stop at stop sign and struck right side of vehicle 2. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 29 died on 2/13/12 in Rice Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was southbound on highway. For unknown reason vehicle 1 crossed the cener line and struck vehicle 2 head-on. Safety restraint was not used.

Pedestrian 1, male age 35 died on 2/12/12 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 travelling northbound on road, then turning east onto road. Pedestrian 1 was cycling northbound on the east side road sidewalk, crossing the eastbound road when vehicle 1 struck Pedestrian 1.

Pedestrian 1, male age 71 died on 2/12/12 in Meade Co as a result of vehicle 2 (pedestrian) attaching a tow chain between the two vehicles. Vehicle 1 slid off the highway striking the pedestrian and then striking vehicles 2 and 3.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 49 died on 2/10/12 in Reno Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was westbound on highway. Vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 head-on. Safety restraint was not used.

Pedestrian, male age 61 died on 2/3/12 in Johnson Co as a result of exiting vehicle and walking in front of it. The vehicle then rolled forward and over this driver while he was outside the vehicle.

Driver of vehicle 2, male age 26 died on 2/3/12 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 1 traveling southbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was traveling eastbound on road and made a left turn onto northbound highway. The front of vehicle 1 struck the driver side of vehicle 2. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 50 died on 2/1/12 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on highway in the inside lane. For an unknown reason, vehicle 1 left the roadway into the grass median, continuing northbound around a curve. Vehicle 1 struck a metal guardrail, ejecting driver onto the roadway. Safety helmet was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 32 died on 1/31/12 in Johnson Co as a result of vehicle 1 leaving the roadway for an unknown reason, then entered onto the roadway and began to roll. Both occupants were ejected and came to rest on the roadway. Vehicle 2, which was traveling southbound, struc vehicle 1 before striking driver 1 in the roadway. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 19 died on 1/31/12 in Gove Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound highway. Driver lost constrol of vehicle, entered the south ditch and overturned, coing to rest on its wheels facing southeast. Driver was ejected from the vehicle. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1 (tractor), male age 72 died on 1/31/12 in Lyon Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on road and collided with a train. Safety restraint was not used.

Occupant 4 of vehicle 2, male age 8 died on 1/28/12 in Shawnee Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on interstate, crossed over the center median and struck vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was westbound on interstate in the right hand lane and was struck head on by vehicle 1. Safety restraints were used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 61 died on 1/27/12 in Montgomery Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on highway and vehicle 2 (semi) southbound on highway. Vehicle 1 failed to stop for stop sign and ran into vehicle 2. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 73 died on 1/23/12 in Kingman Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on street, lost control and rolled. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 67 died on 1/22/12 in Riley Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on interstate. Vehicle 1 slid off roadway on the icy roads, went in to the ditch and overturned. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 54 died on 1/18/12 in Jefferson Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on highway, vehicle left the roadway, went across into the west ditch, rolled and subject was ejected. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 42 died on 1/16/12 in Jefferson Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on highway. For an unknown reason, vehicle 1 left the roadway to the west. Driver 1 over-corrected, causing vehicle 1 to slide sideways into the east ditch. Vehicle 1 went end over end one time, coming to rest facing east on its wheels. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 51 died on 1/14/12 in Finney Co as a result of vehicle 1 northbound on street when driver lost control on the dirt road. The vehicle entered the west ditch, struck the embankment, rolled three and one-half times, and came to rest on its roof facing east-southeast. Driver one was ejected. Safety restraint was not used.

Occupant 5 of vehicle 1, female age 10 died on 1/14/12 in McPherson Co as a result of vehicle 1 southbound on interstate. Driver possibly fell asleep, vehicle left the roadway and entered the median. Vehicle then weaved down the roadway and rolled muptiple times, ejecting 5 of the 7 occupants. Safety restraints were not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 20 died on 1/11/12 in Brown Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on road. Driver lost control and the vehicle rolled multiple times. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, female age 50 died on 1/9/12 in Harvey Co as a result of vehicle 1 eastbound on highway, stopped waiting to turn left on road. For unknown reason vehicle 1 tried to pass vehicle 2(semi) on the left. Vehicle 1 struck the rear of vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was pushed to the right. Vehicle 1 spun into the westbound lane of traffic and was struck by vehicle 3. Safety restraint was used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 78 died on 1/9/12 in Jackson Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 went left of center, striking vehicle 2 head on. Safety restraint was not used.

Driver of vehicle 1, male age 58 died on 1/4/12 in Doniphan Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on road. Vehicle 2 was northbound on road. Vehicle 1 ran the stop sign and struck vehicle 2 going northbound. Vehicle 1 came to rest on its side, the driver was ejected. Vehicle 2 came to rest in the northwest ditch. Safety restraint was not used.

Occupant 2 of vehicle 1 (motorcycle), female age 47 died on 1/3/12 in Douglas Co as a result of vehicle 1 westbound on highway. Vehicle 2 was eastbound on highway. Vehicle 1 crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 head on. Safety restraint was used.
