Saved By the Belt
The Kansas Saved-by-the-Belt
Club, is an opportunity for those who have been involved in
motor vehicle crashes to stress the importance of safety belts.
Anyone who has escaped serious injury or even death because
they were properly restrained in a crash is the perfect candidate.
Saved-by-the-Belt club members will receive an official Saved-by-the-Belt
certificate signed by Governor Kathleen Sebelius and will
have the opportunity to share their story in The Pulse, Kansas Safety Belt Education Office (KSBEO's)
quarterly traffic safety newsletter.
If you, or someone you know, has been Saved-by-the-Belt,
please download and complete the Saved-by-the-Belt application.
Then, send it to KSBEO along with a firsthand account of the
crash and picture of the accident vehicle.
KSBEO appreciates your support in communicating the message
that seat belts do save lives. Please read the following examples
from individuals whose lives were indeed "Saved by the
Belt."
