Personal Data: Born in Mansfield, Ohio, in September of 1969. Ed grew up in Olathe, Kansas. He has two children: Biz and Hope. His wife Teresa is a Wichita native. His hobbies include volunteer police and fire activities, running, mountain biking, and flying.

Aviation Activities: Private Pilot and Civil Air Patrol member.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Master of Public Administration, and Juris Doctor – University of Kansas. American Leadership Forum – Senior Fellow.

Organizations: Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, International City / County Managers’ Association, American Planning Association, Government Finance Officers’ Association, American Bar Association, Rotary International, Missouri Bar Association, Kiwanis and Missouri and Kansas City Manager’s Association.
