KDOT STRATEGIC PLAN

The Strategic Goals and Objectives in the Kansas Department of Transportation's (KDOT's) Strategic Plan were developed to close the gap between where we are and where we want to be in selected priority performance areas.

KDOT's Strategic Goals address the following priority performance areas:

Strategic Goal 1: Program Delivery
KDOT will successfully complete the Comprehensive Transportation Program (CTP) on time and within budget.
Strategic Goal 2: Organizational Improvement
KDOT will continually improve as an organization.
Strategic Goal 3: External Relationships
KDOT will build relationships with all of its nongovernmental external customers and partners.
Strategic Goal 4: Workforce
KDOT will successfully maximize the effectiveness of its workforce.
Strategic Goal 5: Technology
KDOT will optimize its use of technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's operations.
Strategic Goal 6:
Intergovernmental Relationships
KDOT will build on its relationship with all of its intergovernmental customers and partners.
