Introduction

The Kansas Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining approximately 11,000 miles of highway pavement to the level expected by the Kansas taxpayer. The Kansas Pavement Management System (PMS) tracks the condition of the state highway system in order to optimally allocate annual rehabilitation funds.

REPORTS contains summary statistics and graphs from the most recent network survey of the state highway system. It also has links that track the change of the highway system over time.

Survey results for a selected county can be obtained by clicking at the desired location on the map at QUERY.

TERMS and DEFINITIONS is a GLOSSARY explaining the meanings of some of the terms and acronyms we use.

If you need additional information, check out the contacts listed under CONTACTS. Related SITES are links to pavement management web pages in other states or related activities.
