EXPECT DELAYS! LANE CLOSURES: Northbound and southbound I-35 right two lanes from State Line Road to I-435 will be closed for pothole patching work on Thursday, May 23 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, May 23. (New 5-22-13)

EXPECT DELAYS! LANE CLOSURES: Southbound K-7 left lane from Prairie Star Parkway to K-10 will be closed for guardrail repair work on Thursday, May 23 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, May 23. (New 5-22-13)

U.S. 69 & College Boulevard Red Project & Adjacent Street Closures

EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS! 24/7 LANE CLOSURES: All lanes of eastbound and westbound College Boulevard at U.S. 69 will be CLOSED for utility work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22 and will reopen to unrestricted traffic at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24. Advance message boards will alert traffic to the lane closures. Marked detours will be provided. Eastbound and westbound College Boulevard traffic will detour via Antioch Road to 119th Street to Quivira Road via the marked detours. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, May 24. U.S. 56

24/7 LANE CLOSURE: Eastbound and westbound U.S. 56 from just east of I-35 to the bridge over New Century Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction for concrete pavement repair work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20 through Saturday, May 25. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, May 25. (New 5-16-13)

WYANDOTTE COUNTY

K-7

EXPECT DELAYS! LANE CLOSURE: Northbound K-7 from 43rd Street to K-32 will be reduced to one lane for polymer overlay work on the bridge deck beginning on Monday, May 20. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, May 25. (New 5-21-13)

EXPECT DELAYS! 24/7 LANE CLOSURES: Eastbound and westbound I-435 over K-10 bridges will be will be reduced to two through lanes and will remain in this configuration throughout the project duration for bridge repair work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29. Project work is scheduled to be completed in Mid-September 2013. (New 4-24-13)

I-435 & U.S. 69 Interchange Red Project Closures & Adjacent Street Closures

24/7 LONG-TERM CLOSURE: Eastbound College Boulevard right lane lane at U.S. 69 will be closed for reconstruction work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12. Project work is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2013. (New 4-10-13)

Eastbound I-435 to Northbound U.S. 69 Ramp

24/7 RAMP CLOSURE: Eastbound I-435 to northbound U.S. 69 ramp will be CLOSED for bridge construction work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 24/7 round the clock, through October 2013. A marked detour will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed in October 2013. (New 3-1-13)

Westbound I-435 to Southbound U.S. 69 Ramp

24/7 RAMP CLOSURE: Westbound I-435 to southbound U.S. 69 ramp will be CLOSED for bridge construction work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 24/7 round the clock, through October 2013. A marked detour will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed in October 2013. (New 3-1-13)

103rd Street to Southbound U.S. 69 Ramp

24/7 RAMP CLOSURE: 103rd Street to southbound U.S. 69 ramp will be CLOSED for bridge construction work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 24/7 round the clock, through October 2013. A marked detour will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed in October 2013. (New 3-1-13)

Southbound U.S. 69 to College Boulevard Ramp

24/7 RAMP CLOSURE: Southbound U.S. 69 to College Boulevard ramp will be CLOSED, 24/7 round the clock, for bridge construction work beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, weather permitting. Southbound U.S. 69 to College Boulevard ramp is scheduled to reopen in early October 2013. A marked detour will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed by early October 2013. (Rev. 4-5-13)

Eastbound/westbound College Boulevard to Southbound U.S. 69 Ramp

24/7 RAMP CLOSURES: Eastbound/westbound College Boulevard to southbound U.S. 69 ramps will be CLOSED, 24/7 round the clock, for bridge construction work beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15 weather permitting. Eastbound/westbound College Boulevard to southbound U.S. 69 ramp is scheduled to reopen in late August 2013, weather permitting. Marked detours will be provided. Project work is scheduled to be completed by late August 2013. (Rev. 4-5-13)

U.S. 56

24/7 LANE CLOSURE: Eastbound and westbound U.S. 56 from just east of I-35 to the U.S. 56 bridges over New Century Road will be closed for reconstruction work beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12. Project work is scheduled to be completed in early August 2013. (Rev. 5-2-13)

WYANDOTTE COUNTY

I-35 & Southwest Boulevard Interchange Project (A MoDOT Project)

EXPECT DELAYS! 24/7 LANE CLOSURE: Northbound I-35 from Cambridge Circle to I-670 will be reduced to two thru lanes beginning at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 and will remain as such through December 2013. Project work is scheduled to be completed in late December 2013. (New 4-12-13)

24/7 RAMP CLOSURES thru December 2013:

Broadway/Penn Valley to northbound I-35 ramp will be closed for work beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15. (New 4-12-13)

West Penway to southbound I-35 ramp will be closed for work beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19. (Rev. 4-18-13)

Broadway Avenue to southbound I-35 ramp will be closed for work beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19. (Rev. 4-18-13)

24/7 RAMP CLOSURES thru July 2013:

Southwest Trafficway to northbound I-35 left ramp lane will be closed for work beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15. (New 4-12-13)

I-70 at Riverview Avenue Bridge

LANE CLOSURE: Eastbound and westbound I-70 at the Riverview Avenue Bridge will have periodic lane closures beginning on Monday, March 18. The scheduled completion date for the entire project is mid-November 2013. (New 3-15-13)

Riverview Avenue

24/7 BRIDGE CLOSURE: Riverview Avenue Bridge over I-70 will be closed for bridge replacement work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning on Monday, March 18. Riverview Avenue will be closed between 126th Street and 118th Street, and 122nd Street will be closed at Kansas Avenue. These closures will remain in effect until the new alignments of Riverview Avenue and 122nd Street are completed which is scheduled for early June 2013, weather permitting. At that time, Riverview Avenue will reopen from 118th Street to 122nd Street, but will remain closed from 122nd Street to 126th Street for the duration of the project. A marked detour will be provided. The scheduled completion date for the entire project is mid-November 2013. (New 3-15-13)

I-635 & K-5 Interchange

At the I-635 & K-5 interchange a lighting tower replacement project will take place beginning on Wednesday, January 16. The majority of the project work will take place beyond the shoulders on the highway right of way at the interchange itself. There will only be occasional lane and shoulder closures. Project work is scheduled to be completed in late May 2013. (Rev. 5-8-13)
